We consider public awareness raising regarding the circumstances of community-based asylum seekers to be an important element of our work. Our community education involves a range of activities including delivery of presentations for schools, conferences, professional bodies and community networks. If you would like us to present at an event that you are organising please contact us on 02 9361 5606. Please be aware that, due to resource constraints, we are unable to meet all speaker engagement requests. Advocacy We consider our efforts to undertake sustained, and collaborative and effective systemic advocacy work alongside our direct service delivery (including individual advocacy for improved client access to essential services) to be crucial to the fulfillment of our mission, and a responsibility that we hold to our clients and supporters.
